I agree on one pointYeah, 'furries' are f--king mongs, for the most part. Juvenile, sex-obsessed, detached from reality. There are a few good artists in that scene (Bernal, Bruton, JC and the like) and the non-yiffy art is frequently good while the yiffy art is frequently very bad. No doubt, 99% of furries and their art is crap, but you could say that about any subculture.
However, JollyJack's Kat and Scarlet art, while being anthro, probably isn't furry per se, since I've not found him on VCL or any of the other fur venues, or seen any refs to these characters in MUCKs or comics outside of his sequential art strips. And, not all of JollyJack's art is anthro.
IMHO, JollyJack's art is brilliant. I think that Kat and Scarlet are brilliant characters, in their scripting as well as graphic execution. Hardly a waste of talent.
