One night, the cages aren't closed properly and they have a chance to escape. After a bit of cajoling, the wild rabbit gets the facility one to join it. Once they're outside the facility walls, the wild rabbit says 'Let me show you the three best fields in this area.'
They visit the third best field, which is chock-full of lettuce. They spend a good few hours gorging, and then move on to the second best field, which is full of carrots. After they have their fill, they move onto the best - underneath it is a warren full of female rabbits, and they spend most of the evening doubling the local population.
When the wild rabbit wakes up in the morning, he spots the lab-bunny leaving. 'Where are you off to? We've got all we need here - carrots, lettuce and girls. What more could you want?'
'I'm back off to the lab,' the lab rabbit replies. 'I'm sorry mate, but I'm dying for a cigarette.'
