This is a question Festivals II

It's that time of year again

I was at a free festival outside Worthing in the early 90s, expounds Richard mcbeef off the internet. A bloke went mental on the dancefloor and started hitting people. He was restrained, calmed down, but then did it again, a good three times more. Eventually he was pursued around the arena by an ever-growing number of people, like in Benny Hill. He was chased into a massive nettle patch and ended up tied to a chair.

Tell us your festival experiences.

Festivals were way more authentic when it was rich middle class kids pretending they were edgy and anarchic
rather than rich middle class kids just being rich middle class kids.

The Brew Crew/convoy lot were by and large genuine dregs, there were some scary people*
The Trustafari contingent was masssive though for sure. I suppose I'd fit under that tragic banner myself were it not for the fact that the family money was all long gone by then.

* I remember seeing one chap (name of Andre) playing a game of chicken with some other halfwit, stood 20 feet from each other throwing axes at each other
