In the day's of my youth while training at a engineering company there was this middle aged instructor. He was only slightly barking, and always wore his overall coat even outside of work. Another odd thing he had was a small book filled with words like soothing, calming, relaxing and so on and sometimes he would read from it and write these words up on white boards in the training rooms filling them often at tea break. One lunch time we decided to re-write his notes with words like murder, kill them all, hate and so on, we were a cruel bunch. When he returned and saw our handy work he just froze for a while, then burst out laughing rubbed the board clean and carried on as if nothing had happned. Freaked us out good 'n' proper.
