» Irrational Fears
Mirrors and doorbells and scissors, oh my...
I can't sleep in a room with an uncovered mirror (or the people that live in the mirror will get me).
The doorbell and house phone remain constantly unanswered, although I am over my fear of email.
Potentially dangerous objects - knives, scissors, etc. - can never be left out or the ghosts can lift them up and get you while you sleep. Covering them with something heavy is ok, because the ghosts lack the strength to lift much. I did manage to inflict this one on my long-suffering girlfriend when she couldn't find the scissors she'd left out one quiet night and I looked at her with horror and whispered, "It's started!".
Oh, and horses. But that's not irrational.
