A few years ago when there was a solar eclipse in England, I overheard my neighbour wisely advising a friend to not look directly at the sun as it would burn the back of their rectums.

» When I met the parents

I haven't really had a 'first time I met the parents'
My current bf (of almost 8 months now) still lives with them (hurrah for being a bum :D ), yet I only really see them when coming or going or getting lifts with said bf. I've only ever had one proper conversation with his mother...
I think his mum is a little weird about me as she still won't leave me in the house on my own... even if I'm asleep O__o

Hmm, let me think...
I know there were plenty, but the only ones I can think of are food wise, like using slabs of cheddar cheese to eat chocolate mousse and hula hoops stuffed with mini marshmallows...
Wait, I still DO eat those things! Well, at least they aren't as bad as some things I could have decided I like the taste of when young (like paint or white spirit or the Spice Girls or something).

The Big Breakfast
Years and years ago I wrote in to The Big Breakfast and asked to go on the Tuesday Obsessive slot as a Star Trek fanatic; they gave me my own 15 minute slot on a Friday and I got to be in almost all the background shots for the rest of the show. It was great XD
