core blimey
one time when i was making apple sauce with my grandma (as you do when youre 8), i was core-ing apples with one of those core-ers. you know, the circuar knife things.
silly me
i hold the apple at the bottom, and plunge the knife through the apple and through my hand
luckily the bones in the back of my hand stop it from going all the way through,
but my grandma had to deal with a screaming 8 year old who wouldnt stop running. she just wanted to take the knife out, but i didnt want her to touch me because it would hurt. like the bloody thing didnt hurt in the first place...dont question an 8-year-olds logic...
later on in life, around 11, i was in school in resistant materials (aka woodwork) and was using the sander. and sanded the end of my finger off. due to the absense of a teacher at the time, whod just gone into the stockroom, my friend decided that the best thing to do would to put some varnish on my bleeding finger to hold the blood in. no. the doctors had to sedate me to get the varnish off with something like turps or whatever.
another time, i broke my friends kneecap with a rounders/cricket ball. told her to walk it off.
she tried, and crumpled to the floor, screaming in agnoy.

sports day
on sportsdays at my school, it wasnt compulsory to play. they wanted us to, but we didnt HAVE to.
so anyway. if youre not playing, you have to stay on the feild and watch.
bored of this, me an my friends decided that we would go on a mission. yes, a mission. to escape from sports day.
this was not as easy as you might think, as there were teachers guarding EVERYWHERE, to make sure no students did as we did.
so we "went to the toilet" and then crept around the mobile buildings, 007-style. nearly got caught several times, did get caught, got shooed back onto the pitch, and did it again. without getting caught. we hid in the school, then decided we need to go outside, to make it exciting. so once again, we sneak around outside, and get caught, and this time, we get hauled up infront of the rest of the school, and told off.
so worth it though

PE
im a rather violent person by nature, despite being a girl
and im not amazing at sports, but i do try anyway.
anyway.
one such PE lesson, we were playing rounders, and i was up for batting.
i tend to hit the ball quite hard, but not really aiming properly. this lack of aim caused the rounders ball (as in solid, not a tennis ball) to hit the person on second base in the knee.
she crumpled to the floor. and i walked over to her and nudged her with my foot, and told her to walk it off.
it turns out id broken her knee cap, and she couldnt walk for about 3 months, and cant do any kind of physical activity that involves running.
another time in gymnastics (compulsory) i tied my friends hands together behind her back by her thumbs with a bobble (hair tie) and pushed her over.
she broke her thumb and tore the ligament. she had to have an operation and have her hand in a cast for 8 months.
ahem.
surprisingly, we're still best friends

» My Collection
batteries, train tickets, stickers, toys.....the list goes on.
i collect batteries.
i have no idea why. i just dont throw them away. i have piles of shoe boxes full of them, all neatly sorted into brands.
another thing i collect is train tickest. that i KNOW why. when i was younger my dad went to london like nearly every week, and thought i might like the train tickets to play with (...i didnt actually PLAY with them, just horded them...). ive got them all in chronological order and types, and companies and really, i have about 8 or 9 years worth of two train tickets a week. thats a helluva lot of tickets.
and i collect stickers. i have books and books of stickers that have been given to me over the years by relatives and friends. i went to germany and got exTREMley excited about the fact that there are stickers everywhere, and collected german stickers. im just THAT sad.
and beanie babies. anyone remember them?? they take up alot of room in the basement. moulding from lack of airing. its distgusting really.
