» Going Too Far
Catholics
I grew up in Italy, and being the catholic country that it is, my school was strongly influenced by priests, nuns and the like.
In one of the most intelligent moves I have *ever* witnessed, my friend swapped the crucifix on our chapel altar with the local tobacconist's "Be Back Later" sign.
Needless to say, the assembly that day turned out into a witch hunt for a twelve year old, who was lucky not to be excomunicated from the church.
Too far? Well, in a country where multiculturalism is considered a bad disease it sort of was...it even made headlines in the local news!
Maybe what Italy needs are a few ASBO kids on the loose....

» Useless advice
Baby on board
I don't know if this counts as advice, but seeing as everyone is going on about car or traffic related stuff, I thought I would chip in.
Why do certain people feel the need to warn other drivers that they have a 'baby on board'? Do they seriously think that if that sign wasn't there, people would come ploughing in from behind?
Let's assume they are just very proud to have babies. What exactly is there to be proud about? Do they seriously think they are the only animals on this planet capable of spawning offspring? Jesus.

whiskers
Our old cat was pretty useless, as far as felines go.
He was fat, deaf, lazy and a bit of a pussy (har), unlike to his mum, who was smart, agile and generally a bit of a devil.
Both cats liked to sit around the table near the hob whenever anything was cooking, and the smart cat managed to nab a cooking stake on more than one occasion. The thick cat only ever managed to burn his whiskers, which resulted in him being even more dazed than usual for the next few weeks.
We still loved him though.
