Profile for dfgumby:
dfgumby was found in a cardboard box behind some bins at the back of a Birmingham council building in 1969. He was put into storage and forgotten about for several years before being rediscovered and re-assembled. As the instruction manual was never found the assembly process was carried out under the legendary British manufacturing philosophy of "it'll do". As a consequence there were several parts left over after his construction, most notably these included a daisy clasp, over a mile of copper pipe, the original Allen Key and a complete collection of 1:100 scale Tory Prime Minister figurines.
