Oscar
So many stories of mirth to tell.....so I'll start with the one I can illustrate best!
Many years ago the then nextdoor cat decided that he would live with us. His name was Oscar; he liked to drink beer & eat curry when we got in late (honest..! My brother had to share his food & drink on many occasions) Besdies this laddish behaviour he also like to destroy the cardboard boxes we used to bring the shopping home with. One night he's merrily tearing chunks out of said box when he looks up &......

That's right pointy cardboard sticking out of his mouth like false vampire teeth!
Trouser wettingly funny antics, much missed.

Best Graffiti Ever
Many years ago I was out with me Mum walking the dog. We go past the bus shelter at the end of the road & Mum spies some chalked up graffiti claiming "I HATE LIFE" This plays on her sensibilities & she has to do something as it offends her. Living on chalk downland it's not long before she has a lump of chalk & as we pass the bus shelter on the way back she alters the graffiti to read "I HATE LIBERALS"
So from suicidal graffiti we now had a fascistic message. It always makes me smile to remember it.

Apologies for length but it's my first time (& that boast follows me all my life!!)

Third post this question
Can't let this pass without mentioning our cat Bill

Who just turned up from nowhere; he got his name from going to the vet to be 'done' (the show-off Aussie vet gave him a vasectomy) He was brilliant at climbing but you often had to help him down. Ladders was ok (if he saw one he HAD to climb it!) but trees could be trickier...
Mum also had a Brussels Griffon dog called Buttons.

Being short in the leg she often needed carrying when out for long walks (the dog, NOT Mum!) I remember walking around Bodmin with her looking out of my canvas shoulder bag taking great delight in seeing more than peoples ankles!

Caesar
Caesar was one of three cats we once had. They were rescued kittens from feral parents & as such they weren't your pedigree stock.
Julie had weight gain early followed by weight loss in her later years (it was a proper medical reason too; not greedy-cat-itis)
Her sister Cleo had a propensity for climbing up the roof ladder & walking on the fibreglass loft insulation (her pink paw pads & nose would glow for ages after)
And then there was Caesar.....

who was diagnosed with epilepsy. On tablets to control his fits it never held him back. He would love to climb & be fussed. He'd climb the curtain on the back door from floor to curtain rail then hang back to be caught. He'd climb legs then jumpers in order to sit on your shoulders as you stood in the kitchen doing stuff. He'd launch himself in a one-way jump from the side to me Mum many a time. Once he tried that with me but I caught him mid-air much to both our surprise!
They all passed on years ago now & are always missed.
