Christians with free pizza
Back in high school the Christian Club always had pizza or some other food delivered every Friday at lunch. They let anyone in. At first they didn't realise that people would swarm them, take all the food and leave (myself included). This went on for weeks and I was quite happy on Fridays. Eventually they saved the food to the end and closed the doors after 10 minutes.

It was very hilarious watching people just swarm over the pizza and leave quickly.

When trust goes wrong
I was in a theatre group as a crew member last year at the end of high school. I bought a sweatshirt and some t-shirts (cash up front, very important to remember) from the head of it, who I never pegged to be the dodgy sort.

After much excuses and a promise to mail it to me still nothing has came, it is the end of October and I ordered it in June. $52 right down the loo.

Not funny or a substantial sum of money lost, but it still irks me that I trust someone (rare as it is) only to have them take the money. And at the end of the year show a month prior to this the cunt gave everyone on the crew an award of recognition except for me. Most of the people there sat around on their ass talking before shows and I was the one to do a lot of heavy lifting (some of which were sharp because of metal)

btw My first qotw (and post) Cheers all!

Stargate madness
I'm watching Stargate SG-1 all the way through (though not at once because that's a week straight). I've had dreams about it and there are no less than 3 drawings of Stargates in my notebook.

I think I have a problem.

I also play Dwarf Fortress for hours on end with no graphic mods.

Stealing from school
I used to fix computers for my high school back when I attended. It was a pretty sweet way to fill a period. Unfortunately there was never any end to the problems and they didn't even give me admin privileges on the Windows machines and when there wasn't anything to fix I was a courier.

I wasn't getting paid or any kind of compensation ... so I took from the rich (from stolen money anyway) and gave to myself. I boosted a CAT5 cable, a USB mini-B cable, and a 4 GB Kingston flash drive.

That flash drive died two days after I got it. Easy come easy go.
