Accountants, humour?
My rather sassy, over-enthusiastic accountancy teacher telling her class that after lunch we were going to do some 'hardcore double entry'...

The misty peatbog of Bleaklow
On day 1 of walking the Pennine way from the Peak district up to Scotland I had started to traverse Bleaklow. I was already feeling knackered and realising I may have underestimated what I had let myself in for. I was getting soaked, walking through squelching peat bog in thick mist and driving rain, a good few miles from anywhere when I came across a 12 inch pink dildo sitting on a sodden tussock of cottongrass.
Certainly most unexpected.

I purchased some 'Ear bags'
because they were one of those items positioned infront of a shop till saying "buy me, buy me!".

Cost me £8. One blew off my ear somewhere up a mountain in the Lake district. Fortunately they weren't the beige edition, or the Belarusian flag edition either.

Why do people say "lets go to Tesco's" with an S on the end?
I find this to be an annoying phrase that I use myself.
Tesco isn't a person that owns the Tesco shop.
No one says "lets go to Asda's", do they?
I suppose Morrissons and Sainsburys are the correct names however...

» The Credit Crunch
News Coverage has made me stressed.
What really annoys me is the continual use of sentences by the Media like: 'This is the worst financial downturn/job loss/blah blah blah during a recession in 17 years'.
What?
You mean the worst since the last recession, 17 years ago?!
This kind of sensationalism can't be truing up the economy exactly.... and if I see that stupid red downward facing arrow one more time....!
