Event Horizon
Laurence Fishburne, Sam Neill, Joely Richardson and some other people. If you like sci-fi you'll probably love it. If you like horror you'll probably love it. I like both and thought it was the one of the greatest experiences ever. Plus it rolls the credits with The Prodigy's "Funky shit" which, after seeing the film, makes perfect sense. Fantastic!

paranormal?
Couple of stories here, I'll start with the most recent:
A couple of weeks ago, my mate and I were down our local (I know what you're thinking, but this was during our first pint!!) just chatting away when I looked up into the sky. It was just after sunset so was still fairly light. What I saw were two lights moving quite rapidly, now at first I was waiting for the roar of plane engines (we are on a military flightpath) but they never materialised and being someone fairly scientific, I could tell that they were not satellites or shooting stars.
We sat and watched these things moving rapidly across the sky in absolute silence and even now it spooks me a bit thinking about it!!
About nine years ago, my parents had some building work done on their house, a 17th century farmhouse near the site of the battle of edgehill (some people get spooked just being in it.) Being as I had just dropped out of college, I needed some money and my parents said they would pay me to do the labouring. The builder was connecting up the power supply for the new shower and he was in the loft. He sent me down to the cellar where the fuse box is located and got me to shout up to him from outside. As I went outside I became aware of what I can only describe as a whispering in my ear, I couldn't tell what was said, but it sent the biggest shiver down my spine, which, as it was in the middle of august and very hot, was a little unsettling. I was never a big believer in the supernatural before but that experience changed my opinion in a big way!!
Apologies for length? Never had any complaints before.
