Ginger
Why everyone seems to treat having red hair as an affront to nature these days. For a start i hate the term ginger. My hair is not ginger its reddish-brown (or auburn). Ginger root is light brown. Seriously who cam up with that term??

Seriously i think at least 5 times a year i will get random people (mostly drunk) coming up and just saying abusive stuff but somehow feeling its ok. e.g "mate you know theres a cure, dye your hair then u may get laid innit" Then when he adds hes just kidding and his cousins ginger apparently its cool??

To put it another way i randomly say run to a black guy "oy mate you can't get a job cause your black, nah its cool my neighbours black"

Seriously we are as rare/common as blondes however blondes seem to escape all the abuse somehow.

Oh and for all those who think North Americans love it, well i did get compliments sometimes on holidays, but thanks to the boys from South Park that no longer happens.

University
My sister and me had a falling out when i decided i wasn't happy at Edinburgh university and decided to move. In her opinion any university outside of Edinburgh, Oxford and Cambridge is useless. I graduated with a 1.1 in Geology from the University of Aberdeen last summer. Im now working in Calgary Canada and loving every moment of it. Her 2.1 from Edinburgh in Biology means she is now doing consultancy work for a company in Swindon.

Does this mean i won...... I think so.

Dengue Fever
Dengue fever (wiki it), caught it on Holiday to the West Indies. Disease is pretty much like having malaria with the added bonus of causing massive haemoraging from everywhere. Ever woken up with you eyes, ears, mouth and nose bleeding? I have. Also makes you want to vomit every 15 mins but due to not eating just makes you wretch instead. Cleared up after 2 weeks but left me with no energy and feeling tired for a month. Lost 2 stone in weight.

and to compound matters the goverment denies the disease existed in their country, so i had to be treated for a disease that "presented all the symptoms of and should be treated like dengue" but it couldn't be reported as such, beaurocracy eh?

I regret nothing a tale a ginger on ginger
I was a ginger 18 year old virgin. I got cught losing my virginity to another ginger. Well sort of she had more brown hir in my opinion, but my posh twat of a neighbor in student halls decided to ask me if he could borrow some toilet paper, (btw times i spoke to this guy amounts to less time than i spent sneezing tht year. I igonre it hoping he will go away, i did have Phil Collins on full blast for a reason. So what does he do walks into the door i forgot to lock and says "ah sorry mate just need a shit and need......... oh god man so sorry i'll go". Walks out and vocally calls down all his rah mates and out loud announces, "mate ginger kids copping off with another ginger", which went down to a resounding laughter. So soon my whole bloc of about 300 people knew me as the ginger who fucked another ginger. To this day i still maintain this girl had brown hair, and even is she didn't i still win i think, she was hot ;-)

My best mate
My best mate is a ginger. I met him ont the first day of school and we hit it off straight away. He was very very ginger and had a full set of freckles and also, as if to make him stand out more he was at least 6ft3 tall by the time we graduated from school. But it never really bothered me we used to get up to the most crazy make stuff in school and what was really weird to was not once did anyone really bring up his hair in school to make fun of him. Mind you i have a feeling its becuae he came from quite a large family and his older brothers would give him some level of security. His older brother was headboy and he had to older very burly twin brothers on our house team. Anyway i have always had a thing for gingers myself and eventually i ended up dating his younger sister who had a full flowing head of red hair, im now married to this woman. But i'll never forget my best mate Ron i still see him all the time as hes now married to a girl i also was good friends with at school.
