Mr Spanners Earnt Real Man Points With This
Technically it's a birthday present (but they're so close it doesn't really count), and I wasn't technically meant to know until Christmas (we have ways of making you talk...) - he's taking me to Iceland, and not the shop either. Somehow he's arranged all this with work, my parents (babysitting) and sneaky cash smuggling. He's just earnt himself enough man points for at least another 12 months of.... ;)

True Parenting.....
It's two weeks into the school holidays.

The kids have been at home for TWO weeks. That's 14 days, or 336 hours, or 20160 minutes. And there's nearly 4 weeks to go.

This explains my perfect moment.

I woke up on the floor of their room, my face stuck to the story book I'd been reading to them which eventually was so boring it sent me to sleep. But then, I noticed it, the noise had stopped! They were SLEEPING!!!!!!!!!

Those Who Can...
Not actual IT support, but hey. I teach computing and occasionally cover workshops for the IT team introducing people to computers. The stories could be endless but this is my favorite:

Teacher: If you could click on the program icon on your desktop
Student: How?
Teacher: Can you see the Word Icon?
Student: Yes
Teacher: Ok move your mouse across the screen...
Teacher: .... No, you don't actually need to put the mouse onto the screen...

Geez.
