» Worst Record Ever
Southern Comfort on the Skids
Plastic Seat Sweat.
At the time, I was looking to expand the sort of music I listened to. I was explaining this to a girl I was chatting with on the Internet, and she told me that Southern Comfort was her favourite band ever, and how she'd been to the concerts etc, etc. So I figured I'd give it a shot, and dug it out of an used record store downtown.
I suppose she could have meant "favourite" in an ironic sense, but I didn't chat with her as much after that. I suppose the fact that she was from North Carolina should have tipped me off.

» Irrational Fears
Buttons
A friend of mine tells the story of a classmate who was deathly afraid of buttons. Or maybe button holes. She absolutely refused to wear anything with buttons on it and if you teased her by flashing a button in her face she'd at least flinch or scream "Get it away from me!" to the amusement of all.
