A quick TJ and a question for you all
I have a bunch of JPEGs and I want to make an animation or video out of them (sort of time lapse thingy). What software should I use?

Print them all out on A4 and stick them to the spokes of
your bicycle. When you ride, hey presto. Zoetrope!

Strap them all to random kittens, and when
they grow up and are allowed out, this will provide the effect you are looking for.

Use waterpaints to recreate them all on sugar paper
and make them into paper aeroplanes and throw them at toddlers.

FINE
I'll make a 26MB animated gif out of it and post it on here.

animation shop is pretty simple to use
i think you can get it free now too as it's quite old

they still charge for it weirdly
if they know its so useful, why the hell not update it like I told them?!

most animation tools have ways of importing image sequences
if its a crappy gif then animation shop if you can find it, if video Premiere will do it

Ah, cheers
I don't have any animation tool, except for an older version of flash (of which I don't know if it'll run any more).

I think the quality would be rubbish and the filesize enormous.
But I just discovered I can export as a .mov from there, so I shall experiment with that! I shall have to put them all in layers first, I guess.

If you name the jpgs sequentially such as jpg-00, jpg-01 etc.
when you open your jpg you can select "image sequence" by clicking the checkbox and that will import them all into a single file which you can save as a .mov file

They're all named sequentially
but I couldn't figure out how to import them as a single file in PS.

when you use Open in PS there is a checkbox at the bottom "Image Sequence"
check it and it will load and a pop up frame will prompt you for a frame-rate for timelaspe you might want to set it to 24 fps
