# I'm allowed to wear Gunn & McKean tartans, because that's my clan heritage.
I can't recall any tales of Eastern Europeans figuring in that particular period of Scottish history.
Most modern tartans are just tourist gimmicks.
Am I wrong?

# Most mordern tartans are.
my family tartan is actually McPherson, because Roma groups actually join the societies they live in. Even having the cheek to pollute the local populations gene pool with their brood. So I may come from the Hawkers but along that line I also come from the Scotlands, the McPhersons and there is all sorts of Polish, German and other interesting European blood mixed in there too.
So everyone there is wearing their Family Tartan, except the Groomsmen as my Brother wanted us all to wear the same.
