it is true though, there are some very encouraging and friendly people, there's also people who are just dicks.
i wouldn't worry about it, just make sure you don't make the obvious mistakes like posting links/other people's work, etc and you'll be fine.

I have found it a little hypocritical that people are more offended by fatism than anything else being airedhere on /board and I side with /talk on this issue.
Ironic humour is great as long as you are able to laugh at yourself, but it seems the issue of fat people has shown that when it hits close to home, it hurts.
