*puts on fuddy duddy cardigan*
I just don't see what makes these games so interesting

i must admit
most of the games that came out en masse recently involve shooting and / or killing.
I could do with a nice game like katamari or something right now. When's the new rayman game coming out? Loved the demo.

Next image challenge : nice fluffy friendly non-violent video games

Portal 2 is my game of the year so far.
Loved every second. Not fluffy, but non-violent!

I finally got round to playing the first Portal recently
thanks to the Steam sale. A short game, but nicely done, quite enjoyable and a strange underlying humour. And excellent end song.

I've only played MW3 out of this list as of yet.
The single player campaign is quite engrossing, but as with all of CoD's campaigns, can be completed in an evening.
I'll probably end up getting Skyrim next, I've heard plenty of good stuff about it.

I'm sure it's a good game, but it doesn't look like the one for me.
And from what friends have said, I'd probably end up losing my patience fast.

Hoo hoo, I know all about that. :P
I spent many a moon on Fallout 3. Absolutely love that game...
...not so keen on New Vegas though, feels more like a western game than a post-apocalyptic one. Or modern-day Texas.

For all the crazy sci-fi; New Vegas felt a more plausable post-apoc game.
If the US was bombed to hell, people would have to flee to the deserts, because, aside from regions located near airbases, they'd be the least likely to suffer from fallout.
Probably why the game's not as much fun as Fallout 3.

Valid point.
There is still quite a lot of open land in FO3, but nowhere near as much as NV, which had to be at least 70% desert.
I prefer FO3 in terms of environment (going through old government buildings, vaults, etc is ace), and just the fact that is has nowhere near as many bugs and glitches as NV. I once had a save delete itself.

Got it, played it, was impressed with the attention to detail, got into the more patient/precise gameplay,
eventually got bored, bought MW3, having fun again, trying to sell BF3.

You could always trade it in, take it to CEX, etc.
Oh and also, Mk14 with hybrid sights and suppressor ftw.

Tried that today
CEX offered me £18, Game insulted me with £8, Gamestation £12.
Also tried selling it on eBay with 2100 microsoft points so you can
purchase a new online pass immediately, might have overpriced it though.
Probably stick it back on at a lower price.

Someone's bound to snap it up eventually.
I guess the other thing you could try is just ask around work, etc., see if anyone's willing to pay a certain price for it.

Guy in Gamestation said to ask mates and stuff too,
so much friendlier in there. Reckon I'll chuck
back on eBay, appreciate the advice though :D
I'll go back to my throwing knives now.

Yeah, Gamestation usually have great customer service. :)
You have to remember P&P as well; you could end up selling the item for less than you bought it for. You get the occasional idiot on eBay, so fingers crossed he finds your BF3 :D

Stupid bitch in GAME checked for scratches and put her
greasy fingers all over it. I nearly punched her

Also botched / poorly implemented:
Controller vibration (We dont need it! It impedes gameplay! Oh, actually - lets put it in)
Backwards compatibility (I know, lets take away backwards compatibility and remake old games in HD to get more money!)
Various hard drive sizes / versions & a new console look & logo branding so early in the life of the machine.
Its these things (plus some other stuff, like my camera succumbing to the 'sony timer') that have made me go right off sony.

Looking forward to starting Saints row 3
As soon as my mate gets his copy in the post. We're doing it co-op, start to finish, see.
Loved the initiation station demo. Cant decide between my busty asian babe character or my mutated, cross-dressing charles bronson / stallone crossbreed
PS - control pads are wireless now, y'know!

I couldnt recreate my lucy liu lookalike from SR2
Plump / rounded characters look wierd in it though - small heads.
Im sure there are probably more outfits in the game as you progress or something.

Did you not understand it?
It's just some people here are saying you may not really be Japanese, but if you replied to this saying what you thought, it would prove that you can understand spoken Japanese? something that you have been trying to prove to some people for some time, I was just trying to help.
