I read that the countdown clock never actually happened, though I suppose we'll never know for sureTabloids certainly published some stuff over the years that wasn't far-removed though

Not as such no, but they DID print a large number of photos with captions remarking on her "curves" and " how she was filling out" in the run up to her 16th birthday.Some of which were opposite "STONE PAEDO SCUM'S HOUSES!" articles.
