[challenge entry] Nicely
Not only is this my first ever stop motion with a camera(phone), its also the first .gif I've ever made. I appreciate its shite as its just a tap,
but have no tripod and i could balance the phone on the sink whilst something moved in front of me.

Thank you to cockweasle down t'board for this link: www.briandalessandro.com/blog/create-an-animated-gif-in-photoshop-cs5/ which made it dead easy.
If you use this link for your first gif, why not post the link as well so its not knocked off the board? So other people who wouldnt even bother, like me, actually give it a try. Its dead easy.

# Yeah, I hope people don't stay out of this one just because they haven't made GIFs before
I just started to wonder what iphone apps there are for making animated GIFs. Just started playing with one called Giffer which is free and fun. It uploaded this straight from my phone: giffer.co/g/eu32vWzi

# Am assuming that merges XX amount of still photos?
Or does it make a .gif from a video?

# it uses photos
You can either import photos you've already taken, or what I did was use the camera in the app to take each frame. It overlays a transparent version of the previous frame to help lining up. Then you can set the frame intervals etc.
