# I'm the only girl I know
who doesn't do Facebook or Twitter or other social media thingumabobs. My list of male friends who don't do them either is growing shorter by the day.
*sigh*

# it is a pile of bollocks
Increasingly I feel the need to troll the really dull posts, but fear it may be socially unacceptable to write 'thought-provoking' comments below someone's 1000th identical picture of their offspring.

# Facebook is full of cut-and-pasted 'inspirational' photoquotes.
Twitter's like a cut-down Facebook with a greater chance of being arrested.

# This^
When I first joined Facebook, it was full of pictures of people being drunk and wearing fancy dress. Then all the pictures morphed into weddings, and now it's awash with pregnant bellies and sticky-faced toddlers. I'm joyfully anticipating the next stage, which will include images of dividing up property for divorce, passion-driven crimes and garden design ideas.

# Aha yes,
The 30s are the weddings/babies stage, the 40s will be divorce central...
It's the banality of some people's updates that annoy me... 'Mm, looking forward to enchiladas tonight!' 'Hurry up bus!' Sigh...
