# This game should help decide that playground argument

# Still remember the thrill of seeing an actually green Green Yamo on the C64 version of 'Bruce Lee'.
My Spectrum quickly fell out of favour after that.

# I always preferred the c64
but nowadays the Spectrum wins in nostalgia stakes - their games look nicely retro when c64 ones often just look old.

# I never saw the C64 as a kid
I had a Speccy +2A (with built in tape deck) and a friend had the Amstrad CPC464 (he even had the full colour monitor too the yuppie).

Needs more Last Ninja 2 :D

# Does anyone remember the CPC664
It was a 6128 with green-screen if I remember. I had one and think it was an import. I was that trendy!

# I had a 664
It was the short-lived precursor of the 6128. The 6128 started life as a US-only model, but Amstrad soon dropped the 664 and sold the 6128 everywhere.

I thought the 664 was great - better keyboard layout, plus the AMSDOS ROM was socketed so you could remove it and replace it with something better.

Why does my brain remember all this rubbish?

# The only game I genuinely miss from the Commodore years is 'Friday The 13th'.
The list of Spectrum titles is far more comprehensive.

# I'd probably go for Rainbow Islands
That did actually use the extra colour well.

Ocean games :D

# That looks a bit muggy nowadays.
My memories aren't of C64 games being so brown!

# Memories!
I found out they remade Target Renegade for the iPhone/Pad the other day:

It was a classic Speccy game for me.

# You would of thought they'd do this more, the market would be vast.

# Elite were trying to do so with this
bluetoothzxspectrum.elite-systems.co.uk/
However, there have been quite a few bad stories about it.

I think what would work is a Spotify-type site of retro games rather than expecting people to buy them individually. Re-playing some bad ones is part of the fun, but I'm not sure people would pay full price for most of them.

The unofficial emulator sites are good, but there's always security fears there, and it would be nice if the programmers got some money (though I suspect they don't see much of the official apps money).

# Drawers of C60s in my room...
..have been converted to a tiny section of one of my hard drives. Although I use worldofspectrum more often than I use my emulators, these days.
