A while back, I was leafing through a video games mag.
I turned from one double page spread to another and it took me a while to realise I was looking at two different games.

In all seriousness though...
It's less prevalent now, but from 5-10 years back, the "take a successful single-player game and rather than invest time and thought in making a quality sequel just bang it on a crappy multiplayer platform with no thought to story or ambience" approach really got on my wick.
