Lots of places do espec S America. Australia has what looks like a negligble fine if you don't vote....though I like the idea of not enforcing compulsory voting on pensioners/infrim though to be fair, that also results in some rum politicans. https://www.psa.ac.uk/insight-plus/beyond-turnout-consequences-compulsory-voting
