when somebody says "I would" in response to a picture of an attractive woman.
Of course they would - they are internet geeks who have probably never seen woman naked in real life before. They are horny and desperate and would happily go to bed with anyone who was prepared to sleep with them.
Saying "I would" is kind of redundant really.

That's funnier than back when it used to mainly just get said to disgusting looking things people posted.

normally done in jest though isn't it? Or does that only count if you are Sunshine Elephant? Im sure most people are being sarcastic. Its like with "That's no moon!" You dont expect people to turn around and say "Well no shit Sherlcock". Although I am worried by the number of people that request source pics when soft porn has been used in a photoshop. As if there isnt enough out there already.

in response to a picture of a gorilla in a bikini, it's funny.
When it is a picture of a female boarder, I just think its a bit.. well... erm...
It just makes me uncomfortable.

Maybe people should be educated in the ways of board etiquette. Either through the use of of a section in the FAQ or by another means like a member created site. Incedentally, does anyone know what happened to that b3ta help site lemony was working on?

get that offended/annoyed by it? Maybe someone should definately consider making people more aware of board etiquette. I would like to make it clear that I really mean 'make aware' and 'etiquette' not 'enforce' and 'rules'. I would also like to say I have never ever participated in saying I would to any picture ever.

It would be as if you went to a bar and every drunk guy in the place was walking up to a girl and saying "I'm desperate, lets go have sex."
Some girls encourage it, some ignore it, and some just leave the bar altogether.
We must encourage a less sexually charged atmosphere around here.
In my personal opinion, there need to be more rules about how to act on here. People come on the internet and think that because they are using a keyboard to interact with people, no normal societal "rules" apply, and that should be corrected/endorsed by b3ta.

If people want porn or something, then they should just go and look for it, i mean, it's not exactly hard to find on the web.
I can remember when lots of people were drooling over Laini and just being really pervy towards her.
It was fucking awful, and almost painful to see.

I love a happy ending. Do you know of many relationships starting on b3ta? I have read the entire history of Mother-to-be-Inferior and her husband and heard rumours of others but nothing that has been confirmed.

You do surprise me. I am amazed at the social ineptitude that some people hint at by their behaviour on here. On a related note, I would love to meet some of my fellow b3tans but I'm not aware of any bashes taking place either in Birmingham (where im from) or near enough to Huddersfield (where im at uni).

but I think, with regards to Bob's point, is that a lot of people assuming posters here to be your stereotypical male nerd/geek, so if there's a name that's non gender specific, they automatically assume it's a bloke, without even thinking about it.
For me, gender doesn't matter, as I'm sure it doesn't for lots of others around here.

feel like such a fool but I honestly didnt know. i had visited her website and it seemed to suggest to me that there were several people posting here under one name. I always avoided asking & causing offense. I like eclectech mostly becuase she gave me a fluffy picture after I got depressed following a massive argument with an ex.

I think the above statement would have held true say 8-10 years ago when only nerds and geeks (mainly) had internet access, but nowadays the entire world and his wife is online. The BT/Yahoo guys are a long way in the past.
