The male and female figure represent the Adam and Eve of christian creation-myth fame. Their situation in the gray world clearly signifies a post fall-from-grace timeframe, but this impression is contrasted with the innocence of the childlike proportions of the figures. Once the text is added, it becomes clear that the artist is depicting the incompatability of the whole creation-fall-from-grace myth with the definition of the word god.

That or it depicts an actual conversation I had with the artist a few days ago.
