I happen to know few people who contribute to b3ta and I suspect you don't need my advice.
You're a resourceful bunch, I'm sure you can get back at Zoo magazine in your own inimitable
and anarchic way. Parody them, out-weird them, sue them, write to them, do whatever it takes ;-)

How about for a couple of months tag all the images with something that takes up the whole image
so they can't crop it to remove it and dry up their source of material? Or get nasty on their arses and embed
subliminal messages in the images. Or tag all the photos with 'fuck off EMAP'?


Copyright of images that are openly published on the internet is a tricky area, but if the images are clearly labelled
as copyrighted and are easily distinguished you have a case to sue them.

I'd wish i had the talent and humour to get noticed..

but in most businesses - say intellectual property in PC programs or clothes, if you make sufficient changes original work it becomes yours, like ASDA did with some catwalk clothes.

I do this every week. And I think the many people that have ended up with DVD recorders, plasma screen TVs etc that wouldn't have if I hadn't or either tracked them down or they'd seen from the scanned pages, would agree with you.

Also I suggest you read the faq and show me exactly where it says every post must contain an image.
