Yeah.
My defence is that I'm terrible at drawing anime from scratch.
I spent ages trying and settled with that.

I spent ages trying and settled with that.
It can be a bit cheap and deceiving, though, really.
I mean, people say something like "Did you draw this?" and you say "Yes" and they're all like "Wow", but actually if you had said "No actually I kinda traced it really" they might've gone "Oh, well, okay that's still neat I guess."
I'm in no way saying tracing is bad, by the way. I don't want to control what people post on b3ta. That'd be STOOPIDS.

I'm not trying to be deceiving.
But that doesn't mean I haven't drawn it.
And it's not as if I've put no effort into it, because I have.

Well I still drew it, didn't I?
"Did you draw that?"
"No, it magically appeared of its own accord"?

"No, it magically appeared of its own accord"?
But it's still the physical act of drawing it!
Tracing is a kind of drawing!

It's not, though, is it? It's a kind of copying.
You insist it took time and effort, but that time and effort was spent tracing over something which took far more time and effort. IT'S DILUTING. THE DILUTING OF EFFORT. EFFORTLUTING. AND LUTING TAKES A LOT OF EFFORT. D:
