Ive been trying to teach myself how to use the GIMP. I hope this is ok :)

Good luck with GIMP

I really want to use it. I really wish it was better. But even with a photoshop like add-on its still not the shop.

I gave it a good go and gave up.

It's prolly a bit of both.

I dont mean that you are shite necessarily, but I have seen some terrific stuff done in the GIMP. Obviously disregarding my shite up there :)

Having never

used any kind of manipulation software before downloading GIMP doesn't help. Not knowing what anything does is a pretty big disadvantage.
