Again, one of 'those' subjects
For example, I once saw a blind man walk into a lamppost. I laughed. This doesnt mean I ROFLCOPTER at the blind, it just means my childish and warped sense of humour couldnt engage with my adult compasionate part of my brain.

it is indeed.
if they do something funny it's funny, if they're in a funny situation it's funny, if they say something funny, again...
intrinsically there isn't anything at all humorous about downs syndrome or poeple who have it, which is why i tend to throw my toys out of the pram when someone on here uses someone with downs for a very cheap gag because it's far easier than thinking of something original.

I mean - B3ta's not exactly reknowned for it's politically correct, health & safety-obsessed clean livin family fun-style of humour.

I think the point is
he's allowed to challenge:
'whatever they say it's funny to look at someone with downs' as he doesn't agree. I dont think hes coming across as one of those people who moans abotu everything.

blimey it's still rattling on down here
and it's always the same line about the nature of b3ta usually followed, although not in this instance about why did you sign up, i play here because it is what it is and i love it for it. and as i've said before i was amazed that anyone still finds mocking downs and even using the nasty mong word acceptable,it fell out of my vocabulary some 30 years ago. i was harbouring under the misguided illusion that it had gone the way of homophobia and racism and that folk had become a little more imaginative/enlightened in their choice of subjects to mock just because they are what or who they are. and as i said up there is humour to be had from anything if a little imagination is used. downs lol!!!! just doesn't cut it for me. that's about the size of it really.
