Once i had breakfasted,
and wandered around for a bit, it was okay. I then spent the rest of the day in the pub with Mr Pineapple and then a bunch of the nicest Americans you could hope to meet. Despite coming from Georgia they didn't seem to mind my repeated references to banjo country.

Although the Whooper Swan seems to turn into a female Mute Swan just before first contact is made. Can this be corrected?

Another note of Ornithological Pedantry ...
The Bald Eagle is indigenous to North America and its main diet consists of fish. So it wouldn't prey on either a Whooper or Mute Swan, even if either of those species were found in that continent ... which they aren't.
