Although, as shown by FX dropping it, I think I'm the only person in the country who watches.

Both of them satirise mostly US news. The Colbert Report (pronounced Col-bare Rep-or) is hosted by a comedian in character, parodying those reactionary right-wing hosts they have over there. It's very good.

Unfortunately without a workaround you can't watch videos on the site from this country, though you can watch this on youtube:

Same character, amazingly asked to do the White House Correspondents' Dinner with President Bush. Slams him.

"We can bounce back with the most-powerfully staged photo-ops in the world!"

Worth a watch if you have a free eight minutes.

The Colbert Report is great (in my opinion), I alternate between that and the Daily Show.
I don't know what FX is but I'm assuming you mean it's dropped in the UK.
