COMPUTER POLICES GAME SHOP

You might walk into the Dewsbury branch of Games Workshop and not notice any difference to normal. Maybe you're browsing the old Superman comics, maybe looking at fantasy figurines. It's only when you go to the counter that you might notice a difference.
The Dewsbury shop is the first retailer in the country to use the new state-of-the-art Computerised Till Operation and Supervision System. Known as C-TOSS, it is set to revolutionise the world of shopping.
"We were a bit wary of him at first," says Darren Acnoid, the store manager, "but he fitted right in. He even spots any shoplifters and electrifies the big statue of Megatron next to the door. It's hilarious to see the thieves running away with their backsides on fire."
The C-TOSS system is still under trial, but is expected to be rolled out to branches of Games Workshop nationwide within the next six months.
Oliver Mugabe, BBC News, Dewsbury.
