This is a normal post Right. If a cop did it he'd be fired, the department sued and maybe he'd get jail time.
MMA seems to me to be a sport that has disposed of all the restraining rules and restrictions of boxing, Taekwondo, judo, etc, and took what remains to create something that is pure vicious street fighting. From what I know of the sport, a lot of those MMA fighters have had pretty volatile lives. I'd hate to be on the receiving end of a misunderstanding. Frankly, they scare the shit out of me.

who had a rough upbringing, yeah.

So rough that it's a bit of a joke that he learnt Jujitsu, Kung Fu and all that just so he could beat the shit out of his Dad.

Which he did, and hospitalised him.

This is a normal post You're definitely right.
Violence sells these days, and pure violence is what MMA offers. The people want to watch this kind of 21st century gladiator fights, otherwise it wouldn't be this popular. I guess it's a trend which is influenced by the easy access to violence in films, video games and via Internet, can't do much about it.

Still, watching some shitbag criminal being on the receiving end of this guy's kicks makes me giggle.
