None of us chose to eat living things and then shit them out of our ass.

I don't eat living things.
At least, not after I have cooked them. It would take CSI just to tell what they once were.

I've never actually watched it, in honesty.
I did try, because everyone raved about it. First scene I saw was handsome man and pretty lady watching a 'sweep' of people checking a field. One cried out a 'find'. The two pretty people walked straight over (land as yet unchecked, so messing up everything) and looked at what was found. The man put the find in his mouth and declared it bone, probably human skull. Could have been anything after he had slobbered on it.
Cut scene to some lab where the overhead lights don't appear to work, but everyone is still pretty.
That was my 3 mins of CSI, never watched it again.

So you missed the pure joy of shouting "ENHANCE!" at the screen along with them?

It appears
both technically and anthropoligically* excellent. The important thing to remember about investigating murders is to have a great hairdressser, dentist, and never turn the lights on.
*Sod trying to spell that twice.

The only episode I watched, I think it was the Miami franchise, a nutter living in a less than salubrious neighborhood, in what appeared to be a small wooden bungalow, much like the adjacent properties, had managed to build a replica of Noah's ark about the size of six double decker buses, in his back garden. I didn't wait to see how the 'plot' unfolded.
