I was inspired by the Throbbing Gristle link to go find one of my fave artists from that time - J. G. Thirwell and his Foetus recordings. Great stuff.

I was/is a massive Foetus fan.
My biggest regret (and his, according to a recent interview) is that he never made good on his intention to make a whole album of "Butterfly Potion" songs.

I just remember that a guy who worked in the original Virgin records in a basement along Oxford Street
Was always pushing Foetus stuff all around the store. Bit like Throbbing Gristle I found it a little scary so would buy the latest Killing Joke album and leg it.
