The spy who came in from Al-Quedia
Aimen Dean was a founding member of al-Qaeda, swearing an oath of allegiance with Osama bin Laden. In 1998 he was picked up and interrogated by British intelligence. Disillusioned with al-Qaeda's terrorist agenda, he took the dramatic decision to become a spy for MI6 and MI5. He spent eight years under cover as a spy in the UK and at the heart of al Qaeda in Afghanistan. He tells his story publicly for the first time.
Listened to this this morning. Very enlightening on the whole 'Al-Queda' thang.

I thought that
then I thought 'is he or isn't he?' He is a very intelligent chap, he could be playing both sides. But there again, some of the info he has given up was very valuable. A great listen all the same

I expect to see him on the news as "missing" any time soon. Or he'll end up like Yuschenko or Nemtsov.
I suppose that expectation just makes him that much more heady.

I suppose turning them into double-agents is more effective than kidnapping them and wiring their nuts to a car battery in Guantanamo bay
