to keep the tampons, sneakers, etc from getting downstream to the wastewater plants. I worked (briefly) in the wastewater business...was told there was a LOT of problems with thieves taking new clothes etc into the toilets and putting the new clothes on and flushing the old stuff down the drain, causing all sorts of problems in the city systems...
Oh, and often they're called Muffin Monsters :)

But celery? Also tampons and sanitary towels will just make a bloody mess.

I do like the distinct lack of handguards in your video though. Makes me wince every time the person puts something in...

There's another vid somewhere of a similar machine they use for shredding dead cows, horses and other farm animals. I won't post it tho as it's a very NSFL as you may guess.

I don't think I'll watch it again. If I remember correctly, some gets on the camera at one point. That could have just been the endless nightmares I had afterwards tho.

Which was about 100 years.
It was called a "Hogger" I seen it eat 2kg chunks of stainless steel, knives, and anything else you wanted to throw in it.
The inside looked like two massive camshafts side by side.
It scared the shit out of me every time i walked near it.

...when that guy fed in the insulation foam my skin started crawling. Hate that stuff.

Who the hell entwines leather belts and buckles around their fingers then feeds one end of them all into a machine like that without thinking 'There could probably be safer ways of doing this!'?
Nutters!

I hate watching these videos, I'm terrified as to what would happen if the bloke posting stuff into it, lost his balance and fell into one heard first.

1. How they put the tennis balls back in the tube then tip it out to show you just how destroyed they are.
2. How they compare an eaten shoe with a non eaten shoe just in case you missed the point.
3. How it eats tough things like fruit, veg and tampons.
4. The cool music. It sounds just like something off of that tv program how it's made.
