Didn't get too far.
The guy is a twat. Obviously it wasn't going to be fractions of a cent. Getting his kicks by bullying ill educated and poorly paid call centre workers. Big man.

I have no idea what's inside your head
But between your eyes and your brane I think there is a series of jumbled wires, empty beer cans, a carpet with crisps crushed into it and a TV that looks about ten years too old.

He is saying you do not have one of those but instead a sheet, or membrane. Brane for short.

He's saying that you possess a higher-dimensional object that may or may not encompass the entire universe

I'm entirely with him.
He was quoted something and then was charged 100 times that because of the utter incompetence of their call staff... he was passed to two senior people who also couldn't understand basic maths.
He's trying to get what he's been quoted and was written on the documentation. Yes, he's being a bit of a knob, but bullying!? Come on.
You, as usual, didn't read very far and are charging off championing whatever cause you've decided the detail represented.

Just pointing you're making assumptions and throwing around emotive terms like bullying
Again.

Well excuse me.
I would try to treat people in customer service on low wages with zero power over company policy and procedures who aren't personally responsible for a billing error with a little courtesy. I wouldn't try to teach them a lesson in that manner. If not bullying, how would you describe his behaviour? Why didn't he just come out and say straight away that there is a billing error? Was his behaviour even straightforward? Charming? Enlighten me, oh sage.

I try and treat everyone nicely, their wages aren't relevant
You're insinuating that rich people should be treated worse because they have money!? Nonsense.
We also know that he's phoned them before and been left on hold for quite a while this time around and they then proceed to be bad at maths repeatedly. Sarcasm was invented for exactly this kind of situation.
I'm sure however, you're absolutely the model of politeness in your interactions with everyone ...although every shred of evidence on /links suggests you're a massive negative prick to all.

"I try and treat everyone nicely... you're a massive negative prick..."
Try harder, and avoid that emotive language.

I don't treat people who have proved themselves to be massive negative pricks nicely
They've had their chance. You're lumped in with all BMW drivers and Piers Morgan now :)

Piers Morgan? You've gone way to far there. Seriously out of order.

Exasperated reader by the time I got to the end of that.
There seems to be a fundamental error in all that though. $0.02 is two cents, and not $0.002 repeated ad nauseam.

'You billed me 71 dollars when you should have billed me 71 cents"
How fucking difficult was that?

^This
Why go off on some bullshit to try and prove a point like that? It doesn't help anyone fix the problem at hand.

Verizon made a mistake, he tried to exploit that mistake...
...he thought wrong. I think they all knew the "math" they just didn't want him to get away with $70 of free usage. Seems like a good time to re-JAM
