Bacon sandwich!
It's the god of foodstuffs.
It converts vegetarians back to their natural, omnivorous state.
It's so easy to make, and yet so rewarding to eat. You can even do it when utterly drunk.
It's versatile. Add ketchup, brown sauce or mustard. Put in an egg. Make it into a BLT.
Everyone who watches that Hovis ad of the bacon frying then the sandwich being constructed involuntarily dribbles a little. I don't even know if the ad's for Hovis, it could be for anything, all I notice is that sandwich.
How many of you lot now want a bacon sandwich?

Meh.
I'm not a fan. I really don't like salt so don't eat pork or fish from the sea. Or anything that still has a face.

^ This (sort of)
I'm a dedicated meat-eater, I'm afraid to say. I'll eat steak, ribs, and chicken legs til the cows come home (pun?) but I can take or leave bacon and sausages. I like really nice Cumberlands but other than that? Meh. Think there must be something wrong with me.

Maybe I have never had a decent steak
but I can live without it, I'm happy with my chicken/turkey breast I also can't eat meat that still have the bones in it it makes me bork.
I do have lamb once a year though.

Just to confound your stereotype
I stopped eating meat in 1988. I'm not a raving activist; I'm quite happy for others to eat meat and I'll cook it for friends and family. I certainly used to like meat, and may one day start eating it again.

Now it's accepted wisdom that all vegetarians crave bacon sandwiches. Well, not me. They are very appealing, but so are lots of other dishes. Nothing special. Not a problem even when I can smell them.

The thing I really have a craving for is, weirdly, KFC. And that's not even for the chicken, it's the batter. And I bet I'll be disappointed if I ever eat it again!
