Leeds Mela... God knows when...We had to wait in a queue for quite some time for our plate piled high with curries, chutneys, raita, naan but... By the time we found a picnic table; Roundhay Park, overlooking the boating lake and with the thud, thud, thud of some commercial Bhangra; cornflower blue and cumulonimbus high overhead filling the sky.
It was, I have to say, one of the finest meals I have ever eaten.
And it only cost a fiver.
