A few years ago I had a prolonged
bout of giardia. One of the things my very holistic specialist suggested was grapefruit seed extract. I used to have 1 drop in a large glass of water 3 times a day & would gag everytime. Easily the most bitter fucking disgusting thing to taste on the planet.
It didn't get rid of the buggies in my tummy, I ended up giving it to a mate who's a GP - he uses it to give to mums who want their kids to stop sucking their thumbs. Apparently many, many tears have been shed by kids with yucky flavoured thumbs.
Ahhh *warm fuzzies*!

This I think beats anything else hands down in terms of bitterness.

Horrible stuff. You can taste a 2% solution from several feet away, and it makes everything taste vile for the rest of the day, no matter how much you wash your hands or rinse your mouth out.

Been there
Done that, even scrubbing the whole of your mouth out with toothpaste doesn't help.
Imagine a sweaty fat blokes cock dipped in toxic waste and Brut 33. Compared to Den Ben / Bitrex thats a five star noshing experience

My boss once tested the lab respirator while hungover.
He had the filter in the wrong way round, breathed in, got a gobful of Bitrex and before he knew what was going on he'd involuntarily vomited into it.

Wow, that was cathartic. So puerile.
