Im on a waiting list for minor eye surgery, I had the whole procedure explained to me to put my mind to rest.
Not once did they mention a burning smell, sly buggers.

The procedure itself isn't that bad
It is deeply weird, but it's certainly not painful or anything

She did say it wasnt painful and that you only felt a little pressure like someone gently tapping on your eyeball.

It was the noise
It was the noise that was the worst for me. It was enough to make me try to jump back which was why a nurse was stood behind me when it happened.
