The Handmaiden's Tale is quite goodbut then again I read it when I was about 12 years old, so it'll probably seem rather dull now.

My militant feminist English teachertried to get us (an all-boy class) to read that. We kicked up a fuss for the entire first half of the term, and she switched us to something else. No idea if it was any good, but it certainly didn't grab me (mind you, I was only reading John Wyndham and Star Trek/Warhammer novels at the time, so I probably wasn't the intended audience).
