This is a question Bugs and feature requests

Found a problem on B3ta? Want other features that we don't currently offer? Type your ideas here with your finger-mouths. (We don't promise we'll act on any of it, but we will read it and your words could even prompt us into action.)

This is a QotW comment Nice to see the searches page through properly
but 'more' and 'n replies' links to the thread/OP still go to 'oops - this page doesn't exists'

As you can probably tell from the number of times it's mentioned in this forum, we'd be eternally grateful if you guys could take a look.

This is a QotW comment he's right you know
it just links to b3ta.com/questions/postXXXXXX instead of b3ta.com/questions/question_title/postXXXXX

This is a QotW comment two more requests:
1) a medal and some sweets for cr3 for all his hard work.

2) a button we can press to send him a small electric shock of 'thanks'.

This is a QotW comment The most badly-broken parts of the search tool
are still broken, namely that mentioned above by No3l and Gilgamesh. It's been this way forever.

So cr3, and I ask purely in the spirit of mending that which doesn't work, how long do you reckon till these gripes get fixed?

Until then, I recommend using google site search to find posts on b3ta. It doesn't index every post (but then, apparently neither does the native b3ta search) but it always links to top-level item instead of the reply itself, so the results are in context and make sense.

No offence intended, I really appreciate the effort you put into the site but the b3ta search usefulness is severely limited while these bugs remain.
