But the moon doesn't even exist
A guy I know turned out to be a moonlanding hoax conspiracist, so I challenged him to a debate over a pint. He turned up with a bunch of pages he'd printed from the web, but when we looked them over they turned out to be from a site claiming that the moon itself did not exist, it was all a hoax.
I don't remember the details, but one claim stuck in my mind: "There are no references in literature to the moon before 1547, so it was unknown to the ancients."
As far as I could tell from what I read, it was serious. If not, it was a very large amount of work for a rather unfunny gag.
