Crap meals outI'd chosen to take my in-laws to one of my favourite restaurants, only to discover it had changed hands the week before. We waited half an hour to get menus. The waitress broke the cork in the wine we ordered. She got our order wrong. The food was luke-warm, mine was overcooked, the rest was undercooked. After waiting another 40 minutes for the last course, we were told that we couldn't have any as the chef had "forgotten to de-frost the puddings".
Let's just say they didn't get a tip. Tell us of your crap meals out.

I won't say the name of the place - because it's fucking lovely, just amusing at timesIt's a pub in Bournemouth, and we'd always suspected that their, whilst quite lovely pub grub, was cooked in microwaves; we never knew for sure.
Until one day.
We always sit (being the /regulars/) in this comfy little corner, right next to the kitchen door. Well!
One day there's screams from the kitchen, and the new guy comes running out (WEARING FISH TROUSERS) screaming at the head-chef who's chatting to a barmaid that "THE MICROWAVE'S ON FIRE!!!". Horror on the staff's faces. Hysterics on ours: expecting slightly over done chips.
As the commotion dies down, the bar maid looks at us, and says "Don't worry; we've got twelve more".
Hooray!
