I know that feeling!It was one of the first books I read all by myself when I was about 8.
Every choccy bar I had for at least a year after was a HUGE rush of anticipation followed by the crushing reality of the real non wonka world.
Still, at least I had a choccy bar each time to cheer myself back up with!
